Hugh Tanton is a professionally qualified garden designer creating beautiful, bespoke gardens across Surrey and West Sussex — from the Surrey Hills to the Sussex Weald. Working with homeowners in Dorking, Reigate, Godalming, Cranleigh, Guildford, Horsham, Haywards Heath, Hassocks, Uckfield, Ardingly, Lindfield, Cuckfield, Shere, Shamley Green and Billingshurst, Hugh offers everything from full garden design and build projects to detailed masterplans and bespoke planting plans.
Trained at Merrist Wood College and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture (MCIHort), Hugh is also a Garden Designer Member of the Association of Professional Landscapers (MAPL), a Member of the Gardeners Guild and a Pre-Registered Member of the Society of Garden and Landscape Designers.

Landscaping Services
Hugh offers a comprehensive landscaping service in order to successfully deliver your project. From the initial excavation, groundwork and waste disposal part of the process, to the construction of paving, walls and other hard landscape features to the creation of lawns and flower beds, to planting, irrigation, garden lighting and water features, whatever the nature of your project Hugh and his team work together to achieve the best result.

Materials were carefully selected to achieve the naturalistic look and feel of a Mediterranean hillside – combinations of specimen planting, plenty of natural stone over framing the clean lines of a resin bound surface achieved the look.
