This project involved planting the beds surrounding the entrance way and parking area to a newly-extended house. The brief was for strong structure and year round interest, and to make a bold contemporary visual statement at the front door. The planting scheme included specimen New Zealand tree ferns, colourful purple, pink and yellow Phormiums and lush underplanting.  The whole system was irrigated for automated watering and mulched using grey slate to reduce ongoing maintenance.
